Yes, Subway. I used to love their sandwiches!

For two reasons... the first being that no matter how many locations I tried, all of their lettuce was rancid....and I was argued with that fragrant brown lettuce was, indeed, edible.

 

The second is that they changed the vinegar  - now it contains sulphites, to which I am allergic. One bite = instant migraine.

No thank you. The lettuce was bad enough!!!

I never have a problem with bad lettuce. Do you think it's just at one location?

I went to several locations, in different states even. California, Illinois, and Missouri. All of them had the problem.

How very strange! Was it by any chance 'red lettuce' instead of the usual type?

Nope, it was the regular old lettuce....and I do mean OLD.
