Writer's Block: Book based

I think I'd like to call this Book BIASED lol.
Of all the books I have read, only ONE of them has ever been turned into a movie WELL, and that is the Princess Bride. Harry Potter? Close but yikes. No. Way too mutilated.
Indian and the Cupboard. Fail. Massive fail. I LOVED those books. I LOVED the Dark Is Rising series (The Seeker). OMGWTF FAIL. Honestly... most books into movies, I sit in the cornet, bury my face in my hands, and wait until they go away.
So yeah. Fail.
