I'm going to cross my fingers and vote for not-strep. My sister caught strep several times, and I never caught it from her. :)
I'm married to him, but I'm not actually covered, far as I know, so health care for me wouldn't be "free". I'd still have to pay. Granted, it'd be a fraction of the cost it'd be in the US, but it's still money we don't have.
We've applied for residency for me (since we're married and all), but they changed the form a week after we printed it out and sent it (in November) and just got the entire thing back and have to redo it all. (In good news, we don't have to pay the money again. In bad news, we still have to redo it!)
