Poor Hubby

My husband's sick. :(

Poor guy.

He's got a fever of 101.2 at the last check, his throat's killing him, and he's so stuffy that he's killed three boxes of tissues.

I've finally wrestled him into bed, forced honeyed tea down his throat and deposited many water bottles on his bedside table.

I've made him lunch (top ramen, feels great when you're sick and thank god mom sent me four!) and made him take half a dose of ibuprofen.

He's got a cold damp washcloth on his forehead and he's comfortable with the covers he has but I have more standing by in case he goes cold again.

Tonight is pancake night, and I get to make apple pancakes all by myself. (Ray and Candice are still coming down, and the Father in Law still hasn't fucking left.)

I'm worried about Bobby, but I know that that stems from the one time he got really sick before, it turned into pneumonia. That was before we were dating, but it's still hard to hear him cough like that. :(

I hope your hubby feels better soon. I know exactly how you feel...my 4yr old was sick and feverish the entire week we were away for Christmas. More soup and tea for hubby! *hugs*

Thanks. He rarely gets ill, so I don't mind playing mom to him. I just feel bad that I can't make him any better! :(

How's your kid now? Better, I hope! :) (And Christmas! What a crummy time to get sick!)

He's all better now, thanks for asking. It was scary to see a normally active kid laid up in bed with no interest in anything (including Christmas loot!) and sleeping literally all day.

Take good care of hubby. :)

Totally... When my dad was sick, he never wants to take anything or rest, either.

Me? When I'm sick, I want to be in bed with cuddles and soup and hot tea and to sleeeeeeeeeeeeep!
