Writer's Block: Check, please!

To me, it should be whoever asked the other person out, but both people should bring cash to cover their expenses, just in case.

(Hey, someone could go "you OWE me sex. I bought you dinner!" Now you can throw your money in their face and get the fuck out of there.)

So... whoever asks the other out should offer to pay - or at least make it clear up front!

Example: You ask: "Would you like to go to dinner sometime? Yanno, as a date?" You pay.
Example: You ask: "Hey, want to go grab dinner?" You should pay, I think, but will expect to be asked for cash, or for you to offer to cover me.
Example: You ask: "I'd love to take you out for dinner sometime." You pay.
Example: You ask: "Let's meet up for dinner." To me, this doesn't SOUND like a date. I'm expecting to pay for myself.

See? Easy.

And if I reach for my wallet to pay, it's polite to say "Oh, I'll get there", but if I insist twice, let me lol. If I insist once or demure, I'm being polite lol.
Also, if you've asked me out, I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO REACH FOR MY WALLET TO PROMPT YOU. It's very sweet when you just smile and say "it's on me" or "I've got it", or simple take the bill. I am twice as appreciative.

...and all this from miss "I've never been asked out and taken on a 'proper' date".

So..meh.

Rambling done now....
